Kenney Machinery Employees Participate in trueUnite Event with Joan Lunden

edit

trueUniteEarlier this year, we posted an article about how Kenney Machinery was partnering with an Indianapolis-based non-profit organization called trueU that helps companies give their employees opportunities for personal growth and leadership development.  The program has been going very well, and last week some of our employees participated in trueU’s annual celebration called trueUnite.

The purpose of the event was to inspire and support those participating in tureU’s programs, as well as their family and friends.  The theme for this year’s gathering was “The Journey Together Begins”, and the keynote speaker was Joan Lunden, the former co-host of Good Morning America.

Other speakers included Louis Efran (the former head of Global Employee Engagement for Tesla Motors) and three leaders from different trueU member organizations.  In addition to the inspiring talks, there was also awards handed out to various individuals from member companies who have shown great growth over the past year.

The Kenney Machinery employees who were able to attend the conference were Angie Hubbell, Debbie Sanders, Phillip Gillman, Kevin Koss, Christina Harper, and Cynthia Crookston (pictured below with Joan Lunden, from left to right); also Mike Kenney, Mike Chlossey, Rick Harrison, Jennifer Rector, Jon Treadway, Terry Smith, Les Garrett, and Amy McLaughlin (not pictured).
